The Wirtshaus in the Weisser Bär.

Wirtshausküche has always been a collection of dishes that first and foremost tasted good. And which have a long tradition. We want to continue and revive this kitchen philosophy of indulgence in the Wirtshaus in the Weisser Bär.

Egg dumplings meet truffles.

Wirtshausküche with new food pairing.

Sebastian's cooking ambitions have a lot to do with his grandma Paula. She taught him how to make her legendary potato salad, Kaiserschmarrn pancakes and many other fresh delicacies from the local kitchen. All of these delicacies are pimped up a little in the Wirtshaus, interpreted in a modern way and then enjoyed fresh.

It is a mixture of grandma's secret recipes, modern purism and classic Austrian-French cuisine that Sebastian packs into his Wirtshaus classics. It is peppered with a great deal of sensitivity for perfect food pairing, well-founded, intensively learned and trained kitchen know-how and a talent for nuances.

Where tradition meets purism.

We invite you to enjoy our modern, purist Wirtshaus cuisine, which focuses on the essentials. Because egg dumplings also delight with truffles. And the fried chicken tastes even better with seed oil mayonnaise.

But one thing is clear: good food tastes good. And as an add-on, it's holistically beneficial. That's why we also use the same high-quality ingredients in our Wirtshaus that we source for our gourmet restaurant. And the same love with which Sebastian rocks the "Paula".

As the eye also eats with you, we have also given our Wirtshaus a facelift in addition to the completely restyled Paula gourmet restaurant. In the cozy feel-good atmosphere, not only is the schnitzel given a suitable design frame, but you also experience a symbiosis of the senses that reflects our philosophy. Just as we combine traditional recipes with modern interpretations.
